Jean N. Douglas, MSN, RN
Jean N. Douglas is a Masters-prepared nurse specializing in Nursing Education, Quality Improvement, and Patient Safety. She co-founded ABQ Mobile Phlebotomy LLC with a mission to provide accessible, patient-centered services to Albuquerque's diverse community. With expertise in clinical risk management, leadership, and healthcare education, Jean brings a unique blend of skills to partnerships aimed at transforming laboratory services and healthcare delivery.
In her role as Clinical Risk Consultant, Jean has fostered a culture of safety through mentorship programs, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of innovative processes. Her dedication extends to empowering her community by ensuring that patient safety and quality care remain at the forefront of every initiative.
As an educator and nurse leader, Jean has proven her ability to inspire and connect with others. Her commitment to compassion and excellence is reflected in her contributions to the academic success of nursing students, as well as her leadership in senior living facilities where she upheld superior care standards and regulatory compliance.
Jean is passionate about forming impactful partnerships that align with her values and vision of ahealthier, safer, and more compassionate Albuquerque.
Brianda Ocana, MBA, RRT
Brianda Ocana, is a dedicated healthcare professional with over nine years of clinical experience and a strong commitment to improving access to quality care. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist specializing in critical care, Brianda has served patients in various hospital settings, gaining extensive experience outside of Respiratory Therapy, including arterial lines, IV placement, and phlebotomy.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Brianda holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), combining her medical knowledge with strong leadership and operational skills. Over the past two and a half years, she has expanded her impact in healthcare through her work in Clinical Risk Management, further strengthening her understanding of patient safety, quality improvement, and healthcare system operations. Motivated by a passion for serving the community, Brianda co-founded ABQ Mobile Lab Services LLC to make healthcare more accessible, especially for the vulnerable, homebound, and underserved populations. She is committed to reducing barriers to care, minimizing wait times, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered services directly to those who need them most.
Brianda believes in building a healthier community not only through accessible care but also by creating local job opportunities and improving healthcare outcomes across Albuquerque and beyond.
